The Vida-Vi B&B is the first property managed by Charme & Ousadia Lda. A company founded in 2017 with the purpose of selecting, remodeling, managing and operating High Quality and unique holiday properties. The owners (Italian and Swiss) have been traveling extensively, lived and worked in several countries (Italy, Switzerland, Germany, US) before moving to Portugal. You can expect a team that speaks seven languages that will do everything to make your stay or holiday comfortable and unforgettable. We know that the way to the heart goes through the stomach and therefore you can expect to be surprised by an amazing, healthy breakfast and we'll serve at our buffet freshly prepared vegetarian (ovo-lacto) and vegan breakfast delicacies, like a selection of local cheeses, natural leavened breads, self baked muffins, fresh pressed juices and fruits. We will also occasionally prepare delicious meals with a strong focus on vegetarian (ovo-lacto) and vegan dishes mainly based on our Italian culture.

The Vida-Ví - Country House and B&B sits on top of the hill and overlooks a beautiful natural valley in the countryside of the Silver Coast, near Caldas da Rainha, a historical thermal town just about an hour drive up north from Lisbon and less than half hour away from the coast. This typical old Portuguese farmhouse (Quinta) consists of several buidings, a patio with a pergola, an extensive mature garden distributed on several levels, two ponds, an amazing breakfast room with a wooden terrace overlooking the salt water pool and the surrounding scenery. The space, the view and the energy of the Quinta make it ideal for group activities with 14 to 16 people, all kinds of workshops (painting, ceramic, cooking,…), meditation, yoga, sport and boot camps, family reunions, company events or just for a holiday to get away from it all, reconnect with nature and recharge the batteries. Free High Speed WiFi, USB charging connectors, cruelty-free toiletries, towels, bathrobes, linen, all rooms were gently remodeled, equipped with high quality box spring beds, a bathroom with rain shower, individually decorated with original art and restored or carefully selected furniture will make your stay unique! We love pets and we also have some of the rooms that are suitable for guests with dogs! We ourselves have three socialised and, well, funny dogs (a large one, Nacho, a medium one, Nena, and a small one, Linus).

Central Portugal has a lot to offer: Besides the breathtaking Atlantic coast, the beaches and the beautiful lagoon of Óbidos (kite surfers paradise), the picturesque little towns like Caldas da Rainha (thermal hospital and ceramics), Óbidos, Alcobaça and Nazaré (the big wave) are worth a visit. Go for a day trip to Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra or Fatima or visit the colourful and eccentric Buddha Garden in Bombarral. There are several golf courses within 45 minutes drive as well as some nice wineries.
