Arambha Ecovillage is an evolving project, with a small team of people that share a common vision of restoration and regeneration for both Humans and Nature, while aiming for minimal impact on the local ecosystem. Property info

Immerse in nature, experience farm life & recharge in our ecological accommodations, with a calming minimalistic environment, down to Earth, in harmony with the surroundings. Enveloped by Arambha's green valleys and fruit orchards, open ocean views, and an abundance of flora, birds, butterflies etc, you'll enjoy quiet restful nights. You're welcome to explore the farm, meet the community, hang out with the farm animals & birds, learn about organic farming, natural building & Superadobe domes, and join occasional events. Please be aware that we are located at an altitude ranging between 300-600m above sea level. Landscape in Madeira is generally pretty steep, including on our lands, so there will winding steep roads to drive, and there will be a fair amount of walking uphill or downhill to reach your camping or living area.

Neighborhood info

We recommend renting a car as the best way to explore Madeira, and to reach our farm. There are also taxis in the area (we can provide local contacts & app) and local bus service (pretty limited). We are located on the hills of Tabua village, Ribeira Brava municipality, at an altitude ranging between 300-600m above sea level. Funchal airport is around 1h away by car. The town of Ribeira Brava is 12-15min by car down the road, where you'll find the nearest beach, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and the daily farmers market.
