Property info

Submersed in the peaceful and charming countryside near Cercal in Southwest Alentejo with rolling golden hills dotted by pine, olive and cork trees. Built in a traditional “monte de Alentejo” style, but full of modern amenities and detail. The house can lodge up to 9 people +1 baby, has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden with its own private area and barbecue area. There is a lovely terrace with a dining table and small lounge area overlooking the garden where guests can relax and enjoy a good meal and watch the sunset. Beyond the garden area, the villa has acres of fenced farmland where domestic animals such as horses, cows or sheep may at times be allowed to grass. As the name indicates, the property is also a haven for storks who return to their nests in the trees on the hilltop every spring, to raise their young.

Located just outside the village of Cercal do Alentejo, near São Luís. Between Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. Only 13 km from the ocean beaches. Local walking and cycling routes in nature.
