All guests will be greeted in person upon arrival. We will be happy to assist with your plans to visit Lisbon, as well as in booking restaurants and activities during the stay. We provide Customer service in Portuguese and English. Any written requests may also be submitted in French, German, Spanish and Italian but may take up to 36h to be answered.

Located in Lisbon's historic center, Friendly Border apartments are ideal for exploring the city's main sights. The facade of the building by the artist Maria Ana Vasco Costa won Best Exterior Commercial facade at the Surface Design Awards 2018 and the three independent apartments were designed by the architecture office GA S2 Arquitetos Associados. Each apartment is only 30 square meters, but the design and materials chosen make each space a cozy and comfortable place. The Lapa apartment on the ground floor has a double bed and a small outside patio where you can have breakfast or read a book. The identical kitchenette in each apartment has a microwave and hob. The Santos apartment has two single beds. The top floor Estrela is the most spacious and has a double bed. Please note that only stairs give access to the Santos and Estrela apartments. During the month of June, the area is loud due to the Santos Populares festival. Due to its size, the building is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The apartments are located in the historic center of Lisbon in the old quarter of Santos. The Baixa Pombalina and Bairro Alto can be reached on foot. You may also take the train at Santos station and explore Belém and Cascais. Just minutes from your doorstep you will find cafes, bars and restaurants ranging from trendy to typical. The National Museum of Ancient Art is located within walking distance of the apartments and is a must see for art lovers.
