Since 1974, for three generations, we have worked daily to offer the best conditions for our visitors and our animals, keeping the farm productive while also considering and protecting nature and wildlife. We sow our crops, which benefit the entire natural habitat, thus promoting local biodiversity. Herdade dos Salgados do Fialho (9962AL registration number) is located in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, and has nothing to do with traditional Hotels. It offers a different style of agro tourism and accommodation, simpler, for nature and country life lovers, where you will find equipped houses for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Being a rural farmhouse in full swing of livestock and agriculture, here you will find a reality for many unknown, in contact with animals, nature, being possible to carry out horse riding, bird watching, biking, hiking, fishing, or simply relax.... We are close to boat accessible beaches, or by car (5 to 10 km) as well as the cities of Faro and Olhão, each with their very unique and special features. The Ria Formosa Natural Park, is a special wetland area, protected by European regulations. Habitats for numerous migratory and resident birds, as well as for local fauna. Very rich area also in native flora.. The farm is 4 km distance from Faro and 5 km from Olhão, so it is recommended to have your own transport. Free bicycles are also available to guests.
