The apartment is in a two level house, but with direct entrance. It has a great balcony on the south side, direct to sunshine; you can have meals there, read a book or simply take a nap! The house is close to the main street, a pedestrian way to the beach at about 200 meters. It is quite close as you see. To buy food and drinks and everything there is a grocery store in front of the house; that's quite easy!
I had my childhood in Tocha 8 km far from the House location, so my vacations had been usually in Praia da Tocha in this house. Today I spend some holidays in this house again with my family, but I would like to share it with someone as you. If you love nature, walking, beach time, peace time, and to rest long far from big cities as me, you're gonna love it.
The atmosphere of Praia de Tocha village is very quite, sunny, great esplanadas, a wide size white sand beach. The village is very beautiful with very cared gardening, pedestrian streets and playgrounds. At night is very peaceful, but you may want to take a drink in the small bars also. There are some restaurants that invite you to taste the very nice portuguese shore sea food. I may recommend this village to families with small kids, as you feel peaceful let them play in street and take night walks. The main tourist attraction beside the beach is the fishing tradition named "Arte Závega". This is the reason of the beach settlement some decades ago, fishing is done with 4-sailors boats pushed form the sand to the sea to drop the net along the water and after the boats come out from the sea water, men pull slowly the net along about 3 hours, after that fresh fish is out!
