Large and clean room Good breakfast

Location and staff are all very nice.

The staff were incredibly nice, from the reception subchef girl who had the glasses, who always had information and a helpful attitude for anything we asked, to the lady replenishing the breakfast buffet. Just a simple genuinely nice and attentive attitude throughout all the staff we encountered at this hotel!

Accommodations, really great beds and the staff

The hotel is very modern. The rooms are very comfortable, the food is good.

The welcome at reception was lovely. The room was comfortable and spacious. There was a lovely welcome note with complimentary biscuits. Tea and coffee-making facilities were a bonus. We had a lovely walk around Lousa.

Located in the center center of coimbra has it own parking space and great facilities the room was very clean large space and comfortable

The staff was nice and welcoming, and very helpful. The room had great conditions, although a bit hot. However, I never used the air conditioning. They were very flexible regarding my arrival and departure conditions, letting me leave my luggage for a few extra hours after check out with no questions.

Everything! The price was lower than many others. The location is top, bus stations are very close. The house is a monumental old building, very nicely renovated. There is a pool, good free wifi, the rooms were comfortable and clean, there was a balcony. Breakfast is ok, maybe not so many choices but they offer a very nice selection of fresh fruit which was a big plus for me.

Excellent, as predicted from staying in other Eurostar hotels. We particularly like their breakfasts.

Friendly staff, clean, good location

What can I say - we loved the Astoria so much we booked in twice staying for a total of 6 nights. The Astoria was built in the 1920's and no expense was spared - think lots of brass, carved wooden paneling and art-deco glitz and glamour. Okay so its a bit dated and the decor could do with a spruce up but it just oozes charm, care and attention. The lift is the original 100 year old item and it even had a fold down seat. We had river view rooms for both stays and the vibe around the area is great - very safe out at night and lots to see and do. There is a great bar literally round the corner and a 2 minute walk takes you into the center of the city. The hotel does a fantastic buffet breakfast in the large and airy dining room. Add into this the most attentive and genuinely caring staff and whats not to like. Get booking.......................

I love this hotel! The staff is friendly. If you are ever there, book a massage with Sarah! She's phenomenal. There is another masseuse who I am sure is equally great, but I usually have my massage in the evening. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. I take a book and relax while I eat way too much! I even won some money at the casino next door!

It was very luxurious. Staff were all so friendly and so helpful and accommodating. We had a beautiful room , bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and the breakfast was delicious

Hotel location is very good, Coimbra University and Botanical garden are just a short walk away. Hotel is good and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and also provided us with the baby crib. In the morning, a good breakfast was served that had enough options to choose from.
