After the hassle of coming up with a name, we agreed that it would be JADS Guesthouse. JADS comes from the initials of our family: Jorge, Albina, Diogo and Soraia. This was a project very dear to us, a dream that has finally come true. We look forward to sharing this piece of us with you, so that you can make happy memories here for the rest of your life.

Property info

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, our country house is perfect for both a peaceful stay and something more dynamic, as the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for adventure, whether you're alone or accompanied by family or friends. From the history books, over 300 years old, it is said that this house, made of stones carried by horses, was built to house monks from the city of Braga. Many years later, here we are! With this renovation we wanted to harmonise rustic features with modern ones. We wanted to maintain the essence of the house and, at the same time, bring comfort to our guests.

The surrounding area is known for its splendid trails, enchanting lagoons and fantastic views. Take advantage of your stay to reconnect with nature with some of our suggestions: Take the 14km Pão, Azeite and Miradouros trail; Visit Poço Verde and take a dip; Enjoy the fantastic view from the Fafião viewpoint, 1 kilometre away.
