Les Terrasses Suites is a gay friendly adult only lodgement located in the best part of Madeira Island, Calheta. Our name, Les Terraces, was chosen to honor past generation’s hard work who built by hand the terraces made of volcanic rock around the island. This is why when building this project we respected their work and incorporated the lava rocks into the design of our rustic yet modern establishment. Furthermore, each room has a large state of the art mattres, build in USB plugs, smart TV 32", NETFLIX, kitchenette with a microwave and a fridge, as well as a NESPRESSO coffee machine and induction cooking plate, large terrace with table and chairs with ocean views. If you need a little air in the room, you can use the ceiling fan whenever you want. During your stay with us, you will have easy access to the supermarket (5 minutes car ride) and Calheta marina where you can ejoy an array of bars, restaurants and shops. This marina is the epicenter of all tours for Whale/Dolphin watching while enjoying the most spectacular sunsets!

We are located 34 km from the city of Funchal and 50 km from Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport. In Funchal, you can find many local shops such as the "Mercado dos Lavradores" or climb the cable car to the Monte Zone, where you can spend your time strolling through the beautiful Tropical Botanical Gardens of Monte Palace or down the hill at our famous Walks in basket case. Funchal has a rich gastronomy with high quality restaurants that serve our world-renowned Madeira wines. We hope to see you soon in order to make your stay in Madeira special. See you soon!
