Hi there, :)! Welcome to our dream home! We are Sofia and Mario, a surfer couple in early thirties. We are regular people with regular jobs, and we decided to make our dream come true and purchase a life-long investment guesthouse in our favorite village - Ericeira. We wanted a cozy home surrounded by nature to raise our babies but also a home to share with other travelers. We have built this guest house from the scratch with a lot of love and with help of our friends. Now, we want you to enjoy it as much as we do, and we will do our best to give you a relaxing and truly local experience.

Our house in typical ‘Ericeira style’ is located in Fonte Boa dos Nabos, a quiet neighborhood less than two kilometer (less than twenty-minute walk) away from Ericeira’s historic center. It’s our and your relaxing oasis; just lay in the hammock and watch green fields, horses, palm trees and amazing sunsets from the terrace. If you are a surfer, you’re in for another treat: we have a whole bunch of tips to give you! Like a Local is a brand-new guesthouse, built with a lot of love, creativity and friends’ help. The interior is entirely new and finalized in July. This makes our guesthouse also super clean and organized. At the same time, we created a colorful and relaxing space. Your morning alarm clock will be our funny rooster and its chicks (and their eggs could be your breakfast along with the veggies we are growing in our small garden).
