Monte Girassol - The Lisbon Country House! is a fantastic Rural Tourism House located just 40 km from Lisbon, between the Tagus and Sado rivers, in the middle of the Setúbal wine route. We are a multi-guest tourist establishment, with meal and beverage service upon reservation. We are not a Local Accommodation type holiday home! and we do not accept reservations for noisy events. We are inclusive and welcome all guests, including groups of friends and families, respecting the rules of safety, civility and civility described in the House Regulations.

Monte Girassol - The Lisbon Country House! It is a fantastic Rural Tourism House located just 40 Km from Lisbon, between the rivers Tejo and Sado, in the wine route of Setúbal. It is a property with history, which has been completely restored and offers all the modern comfort, with 5 private accommodations that are kept separately and allows us to accommodate up to 25 people. The property has a beautiful lawn garden with 2000 m2 and a 10x5m heated swimming pool treated with salt. In addition to its private accommodations, guests can enjoy the common areas of the house as the lounge with dining room, covered and uncovered terraces, garden and swimming pool. We also have at their disposal two bicycles for adults, a ping pong table, badminton rackets, croquet, board games, satellite TV, books and DVD movies in their original version. Within a radius of 30 Km, several activities are possible: take a walk, riding a bike, go to the fantastic beaches of Arrábida or Tróia, practice golf, horse riding, nautical activities in the rivers Tejo and Sado or at the ocean, hunting and fishing, shooting, visiting known wine cellars, as well as visiting the beautiful cities of Setúbal, Palmela, Alcochete, Montijo and taste the local gastronomy, where the fish, game meat, cheese and desserts are greatly appreciated. Less than 1h drive, you can easily visit the monumental and mystic cities of Évora, Sintra, Santarém and Óbidos or the picturesque and coastal cities of Sesimbra and Ericeira, as well as the cosmopolitans Estoril and Cascais. During the entire stay, there will always be present house staff to provide additional services (meals, drinks, cleaning) or to help guests on what they need. We have partnerships with several entities in the region, for external activities. We speak portuguese, english, spanish and french. We are in the countryside in the middle of the Pegões / Palmela wine region. The nearest town is Santo Isidro de Pegões, 8 km away. Lisbon is 40km away with excellent access, a 30-minute drive across the Vasco da Gama Bridge. Setúbal and its Arrábida beaches are 30 km away. The fabulous beaches of Tróia and Comporta are accessible by ferry from Setúbal. The village of Alcochete on the banks of the Tagus River is 23 km away.
