Ocean View Cottage is in a stunning location in a very rural setting with extensive views over the ocean and surrounding countryside. It is a newly refurbished property which was completed in October 2019. It lies in an ideal location for accessing Levadas and woodland walks. Reservations are 7 nights minimum please.

We (Kamila and myself) had been visiting Madeira several times over recent years before we decided to purchase our main property with two holiday rentals. We love the peace and tranquillity that Ponta do Pargo offers on the far west side of Madeira. I believe it is important to share such a lovely place with other people who love the countryside, the fresh sea air and the views. We enjoy meeting travellers from around the globe as we have both travelled extensively ourselves. Our interests are caring for the environment, learning the Portuguese language, walking, fishing, cooking for friends and generally enjoying life on Madeira. We enjoy the warm climate here on the island and friendliness and generosity of the local people.

The neighbourhood is friendly and the local people speak English if your Portuguese is not 100% :). There are a couple of restaurants in the local village, one of which is our favourite - O Farolim.
