Câmara de Lobos is a charming coastal fishing town on Madeira’s south coast, known for its colorful boats, dramatic sea cliffs and relaxed atmosphere. The waterfront offers a pleasant promenade, seafood restaurants and cafés where locals gather to enjoy espetada and fresh fish. It’s ideal for scenic walks and photography try the harbor area, the cliffside viewpoints and the nearby Cabo Girão skywalk (one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe). Practical amenities are close at hand: small supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, banks and regular bus links to Funchal (about 10–15 minutes by car or bus).
