LISBON - 22 Min by Train CASCAIS - 17 Min by Train SINTRA - 24 Min by Car BEACH - 4 Min Walking Located in Private Condo, only a few steps from Beach, Boardwalk by the Ocean and Train Station. 5 min from Carcavelos beach, one of Portugals hottest Surf spots. Still undiscovered by most tourists, the traditional Santo Amaro neighborhood of Oeiras is mainly populated by local families due to its calm and safety. In the center of Oeiras, you'll discover the grand Palácio do Marquês de Pombal, an 18th Century baroque palace and gardens inspired by Versailles Palace, now serving as the local city hall. The traditional local market, pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants and a few local shops are only a few minutes' walk. The Santo Amaro train station is directly across the street from this apartment, so you can be in Lisbon or Estoril / Cascais within 25 minutes, as Santo Amaro is located halfway between both destinations.
