Be a Guest at PachaMama is situated in picturesque Alentejo, within walking distance of the historic medieval city of Alcaçer do Sal. Relax in your Scandinavian-designed haven, part of a charming, 100-year-old farm, complete with organic veggie gardens, & only 20 minutes from Portugal's trendiest beach. The apartment is complete with a bathroom and two bedrooms; a grand king-, king-sized and single bed. The well-equipped kitchen boasts open-plan living/dining, and there is a terrace out the front where you can chill out on our comfy furniture. We also have a mosquito-proof communal area with couches, table tennis and a pool table, perfect for hanging out in the evening. A delicious, home-made breakfast is available for you at an additional cost. Please let us know on check in if you would like breakfast. Dietary needs can be catered for. Sunday night is Pizza Night! Enjoy endless wood-oven pizzas from 6pm-10pm, music, games, and meeting other travellers. All you can eat. Please note; music will play until 22:00. Pachamama is a communal farm, meaning there are always a lot of people, children, dogs, and other animals around at all times. Although the apartment is a private living space, it is likely you will encounter some of the other guests and animals during your stay here.
Hello I am Maja and I am looking forward to welcoming you here at PachaMama. I love showing people how farm and community life works and how you can enjoy with us. We have a big property and a beautiful garden, with many unique aspects. There is a canal adjacent the property for a cool swim on a hot day, and a mosquito-proof Geodome to hangout in during the evening, or practice yoga in during the day. You are very welcome to explore our farm as if it was your own :)
The charming part of our farm is that there are no neighbours and you can really experience the feeling of being in the countryside. The nearest town of Alcacer do Sal is within walking distance, where there are cafes, restaurants, & shopping opportunities. You are also very welcome to borrow one of our bicycles. The area of Alentejo is very old, and has many landmarks and amazing preserved nature to explore. We also have connections to lovely people in the area who can take you out fishing, wine tasting, or horseback riding.
