We are Teresa and Ricardo, Júlia and João and this is our Papoila. In 2018 we started to 'plant' our house. It's been a beautiful journey. There is a lot of love here. In every detail. There is family. There are friends. There are stories and memories. It is us and all those who walk with us. Now we share our house with you. And it will be, from now on, yours.

Property info

Papoila is a house designed like the old Alentejo houses. We recovered much of what was old and which was loaded with history so we can call it "Home". Papoila was conceived with a lot of love and has a lot of us in it. Everything was thought out in detail and has a lot of our history. The typewriter was Teresa's and is 33 years old. The black phone was from my Teresa's grandfather grocery store that is over 60 years old. Enjoy everything but take care as it was yours! We ask you to leave everything as you found it.

Neighborhood info

We are located in the center of the village of Grândola. It is a street with cars circulation(one way) and has houses across the street. Try to bought meat, fresh fish, vegetables and fruit from the region in the local groceries stores and prepare a nice meal at Papoila. 20/30 minutes from beautiful beaches such as Comporta, Carvalhal, Pêgo, Melides, Aberta Nova, Galé where you can have surf lessons or horse riding, between other activities. Incredible area for nature walks and birdwatching.
