Wake up minutes from the world class waves of Baleal! We offer well designed comfort for families, surfers, couples and solo travellers looking for a practical and relaxing base. Our house is inspired by Oeste Portugal - think pure cotton sheets, hammocks and fresh orange juice. And surfboards! We are a friendly, family run business. We live on site so that we can keep the house nice, meet our guests and help them to explore the area. With more than 25 years of surfing in Baleal we know our stuff.
We are Alex, a lifelong Baleal surfer, and Clare, surfer and beach lover. We met in Baleal and feel like the luckiest people on earth to now live here with our young children. We believe that a little bit of the wild is good for you, especially the ocean. We believe that travel can change your life, and that pleasure isn't complicated. We want to help create a bigger love for simple pleasures, so we built Perfect Shore.
We are in the pretty village of Ferrel. Often referred to as Baleal-Ferrel, the village joins with Baleal along Avenida do Mar. From our peaceful location you have a great view of the ocean, the peninsula city of Peniche and on a clear day the nature reserve of the Berlengas Islands. A five minute stroll takes you to cafes and restaurants serving local seafood, freshly baked bread and great coffee. It’s just 1.5km to Baleal beach and slightly less to wilder Almagreira to the north, and an easy cycle to Peniche and numerous other top surf spots such as the world famous Supertubos.
