A family of avid travelers, we welcome people from all countries, backgrounds and walks of life: world schooling families, passionate explorers, laid-back honeymooners, curious teenagers, nomads living a digital adventure and Lisbon weekenders. At the quinta, you can take a break and connect to the land, laying by the pool, playing ping pong or pétanque, get lost in the bushes, or working in our communal gardens.

Quinta Bohemia is an ecolodge with typical Portuguese casitas nested in a lush and whimsical permaculture garden with orchards, a food forest, wild bushes and a salt-water pool. Close to beach and islands, 20 min from Faro airport. Each house has private spaces, a well-equipped kitchen, a terras and a view. *** SpaceX Starlink Internet now available throughout the property... Our grey water also irrigates our gardens, so we provide you with heavenly organic, biodegradable body-care products and detergents. Thick walls, smart building, solar panels and ingenious water and cooling systems allow us to create, conserve and recycle energy, making the main houses one of 1.3% of houses in Portugal to be rated A+ in energy efficiency (think one of the most comfortable stays in winter...). At the Quinta, you will also find numerous fruit trees, olive trees, carob trees, medicinal plants, and soil regeneration ecosystems.

Or go explore the Algarvian surrounding on a bike, or depending on the conditions of the day, kite surf (15 minutes away), surf (25-45 minutes away) or stand-up paddle (10 minutes away). Feeling like diving into the Portuguese lifestyle? Five towns are less than 25 minutes away: the market-focused towns of Olhao and Loulé, the charming town of Tavira, the seaside fisherman port of Fuseta, and the rich Algarvian capital of Faro. Beaches are nearby (Fuseta) and a short ferry ride will take you to the desert islands and sand bars of the Ria Formosa National Park.
