Located 2 km away from Tavira and from the beautiful Ria Formosa Natural Park, Quinta da Pintassilga is a 12 ha property with orange and lemon groves, surrounded by old carob trees. The century-old house and farm annexes were fully renovated to integrate the comfort of modern architecture with the charm of the ancient constructions, respecting the original structure and layout and prioritizing the use of traditional organic materials. Honoring the simplicity of the traditional country houses of the Algarve, the renovated buildings include three independent houses designed to privilege comfort and privacy. Fully equipped with the appliances and amenities to ensure the best comfort standards for self-catering holidays, with a minimalistic decoration, each house has a large front pateo space with a shading pergola and outdoor table set, and a top terrace (“açoteia”) with beautiful views of the see, the mountains and the orchards. The house at Quinta da Pintassilga are immersed in this quiet and relaxing country environment, where our guests are invited to enjoy the silence, the country life, and to feel like at home.
