Surrounded by lush gardens and vineyards, Quinta da Timpeira overlooks the Meadas Mountain Range. It features an outdoor pool, a tennis court and free Wi-Fi. Company info

Graduated in Marketing and postgraduate in hotel marketing, my professional life has always been linked to hotels. I had the opportunity to work in hotels of renown in Portugal, among them the Casa da Calçada Relais & Châteaux, Hotel Carris Porto Ribeira and Six Senses Douro Valley. Last year it was time to embrace this family project, now also owned by me and my husband. What I like the most is to be able to receive my guests and make them feel at home in front of our fireplaces in the winter or in our wonderful pool and innumerable nooks of our gardens.

Quinta da Timpeira opened its doors to tourism in 1992. Since then this Agro-tourism unit stands out in the most prestigious guides as a reference of local accommodation. Since last year, Rita & Vasco Parente (co-owner) hugged the project.

Neighborhood info

Quinta da Timpeira is located just a few minutes from the city center of Lamego. The best is being in the middle of vineyards, cherry trees and gardens just a few meters from the city. The nearest point is the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios and then there is the Cathedral, the Museum and the Castle. The Douro Valley is only a 15-minute drive away.
