This 19th century palace, surrounded by the UNESCO heritage of humanity, awaits your visit. In a mixture of stories of yore and contemporary comfort, feed yourself with life in these green hills. Quinta das Murtas is an old small palace with more than 140 years. Due to its historical, architectural and cultural importance, the property is protected by local laws. And, for this reason, the house does not have an elevator, but only stairs. There are no rooms adapted for people with low mobility, and there are corridors and many internal and external stairs that give access to our parking lot. The rooms (double and triple) located inside the main house do not have air conditioning or minibar. Our breakfast room does not have the capacity to serve all rooms at the same time. Therefore, there are slots to be chosen when checking in, according to our daily availability. The times are: 8:30am, 9am, 9:30am and 10am. At Quinta das Murtas all rooms are different in size, floor, decoration and location (main house, annex or garden). When making a reservation with us, please note that you have booked a specific type according to your choice (be it a double room, triple room, apartment for two people or apartment for four people) and not a room based on the photo in the gallery, as Accommodation will always be subject to availability in our booking system. The photos are illustrative and the room you reserve may not be the one advertised, but rather the one that will be available. All reservations made through our website will be charged 48 hours before check-in. Please make sure to insert a valid credit card so that the process can be completed completely. If there is any discrepancy, the reservation may be automatically canceled by the system.
