We, Michelle, Thomas, Mika and Rick, welcome you at Quinta Japonesa. You have all the privacy at your own accommodation and terrace. And you can also engage with us if you want. We are from the Netherlands and we live now for more than 10 years in Portugal. You can ask us, where to go for the best beaches, restaraunts and more.

Property info

Quinta Japonesa is a renovated old cottage house. It has two apartments for 2-5p. Around the property a Zen garden is created with two glamping tents for 2-6p. Up the hill is a holiday home for 2-8p and another glamping tent for 2-8p. There is a heated swimmingpool, playground for children, trampoline and a tree house. The name of the quinta comes from having a japanese style garden. There is also a space for doing Yoga/Qigong in a oriental style canvas lodge, ideal for retreats. If you are a digital nomad or work remotely, free Internet connection in the apartments will help you to combine your work time with time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Quinta Japonesa. It's also a perfect place for your family holidays where your kids will find plenty of activities to enjoy with you.

Quinta Japonesa is situated in a green valley with apple and pear trees and grapevines. We love to share our beautiful holiday spot for everybody that loves peace and quiet, space, nature and at the same time want to be close to the city, beaches and other holiday activities. We like to help you find your way in this beautiful piece of Portugal between Lisbon (1 hour 15 min.) and Coimbra (University city 1 hour 20 minutes) and 20 minutes from two wonderful beaches. We can suggest holiday activities such as culinairy, golf, go kart, castles and churches (Fatima), hiking, running, water sports, mountainbiking, thermal baths, Qigong training. There is something for everybody.
