Therefore, in this space you can also recharge your energies to embrace the secrets and treasures that the Gerês area has in store for you. It truly is the personification of an invitation to refuge,proximity to nature and the creation of bonds. In a new and refreshing way.

Santo Tirso is our birthplace, which makes Gerês our second home. We have known this region for over 35 years, from its challenging trails, to its waterfalls, magical villages and the most authentic restaurants. But our history also includes places and people from all over the world. As a family,we already know more than 30 countries spread over 3 continents. With a predilection for Asian countries, a popular saying stands out to inspire the stay in our refuge: “In Vietnam you plant rice, in Cambodia you see the rice grow and, in Laos, you hear the rice grow.” We created this place so that it can become your Laotian retreat. With all the pleasure and friendliness, you can count on us for an unforgettable stay in one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

Gerês really is a unique place. There are 70,000 hectares of mountains and nature that take on such different yet complementary contours.
