Company info

Ana is a local of Atalaia; while José is a Canadian-born Portuguese from the Braga region. We are proud of our roots and being Uma Casa Portuguesa we are eager to share our knowledge and heritage to enrich our clients' cultural experiences. We enjoy hosting and listening to our guests' special stories! Walks on the beach with our dog, Viana, and watching the waves washing up on the sand are a must. Also, watching the sunset from our kitchen table is one of the best ways to end our day.

Disconnect, Relax, Indulge ... Our location and services make your stay unforgettable. All of our accommodations have unobstructed ocean views! We have two wonderful beaches that are within walking distance and we are ideally located within an 100 kms radius of great attractions. Or, you can choose to stay in: sit by our pool, or lounge on your very own Muskoka Chair absorbing the sunshine and gazing out to the Atlantic! Wait no more -- come and experience our paradise!

Neighborhood info

We are well situated within a short distance to the beach, great restaurants and cafes; and, we have sand, walking trails, fishing and surfing all within minutes of our Guesthouse. The restaurants Galo com Lagosta and Adega do Careca as well as the Porto das Barcas Bar are within 7-10 minute walking distance. Also, either by car or by foot, you will find the restaurant West 23 by Chakall, the local grocery store Frescos da Rosario, and the Cafe/Restaurant Fonte Nova.
