We are Franco and Hilaría, administrators of this local accommodation in Madeira. Our purpose is to provide our guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay in addition to establishing friendship ties with them that will last over time. Born in Venezuela, of Italian and Portuguese parents, we have fused customs and traditions that make us a multicultural family. We like to meet people from different cultures and share with them our customs and traditions and thus enrich each other in the cultural aspect. At the request of our guests, we offer some typical dishes from our roots and thus share the flavors that distinguish us. We love good food, so there is always plenty here. We are passionate about the treasure that is nature, and what it teaches us, that is why we support the care and preservation of the environment and its resources. It is a place where relaxation and natural beauty merge to create a pleasantly unique atmosphere. We have comfortable, ventilated and naturally illuminated spaces that invite you to relax and meditate. Each room has its own private bathroom, double bed and kitchen equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and other kitchen utensils. We also have cable TV service and WiFi network for unlimited and completely free internet access. We have open spaces with large gardens and a private viewpoint overlooking the bay of Lugar De Baixo from where you can appreciate truly spectacular sunsets. It has access to a terrace for common use in front of the house, from where you can see, without obstacles and in the front row, the sunrise or sunset in the sea, enjoying its magical colors and brightness while you have breakfast, dinner, share with friends or enjoy an intimate moment in the moonlight. To help you make the most of your trip and make your stay a pleasantly unforgettable experience, we want you to know as soon as you arrive what experiences you want to live on this trip: adventure, sport, fun, culture, relaxation, exploration, etc. to suggest some routes or activities that might be of interest to you. In addition, they will be able to explore the farm where the house is located, and take from the crops: vegetables, seasonal fruits and aromatic herbs. Upon request and for a small fee, you can enjoy nutritious breakfasts or a romantic dinner typical of Venezuelan gastronomy and drinks upon request. They can even start the two barbecue stations. Anyway, we live on the 2nd floor of the property, so we can assist you when you need it.

El alojamiento está ubicado en la Parroquia Tabua, de allí toma su nombre distintivo. Tabua es una Parroquia portuguesa del Municipio de Ribeira Brava, con 11,10 km² de superficie y 1.105 habitantes (2001). Su densidad de población es de 99,5 hab/km². Su principal actividad es la agricultura especializada en el cultivo de bananas y recientemente han aparecidos varios Alojamientos Locales en la zona, cada día más demandados. El Municipio de Ribeira Brava tiene una extensión de 65.10 km² de área y 12.494 habitantes (2001). Limita al norte por Ponta do Sol, y al sur tiene al océano Atlántico. Las parroquias de Ribeira Brava son las siguientes: Campanario, Ribeira Brava, Serra Da Agua y Tabua. El Municipio de Ribeira Brava y específicamente la Parroquia Tabua cuentan con un clima primaveral prácticamente todo el año (al menos 9 meses). Esto hace que sea un lugar muy apetecible para los habitantes de los países del norte de Europa, Canadá y Estados Unidos. La Villa de Ribeira Brava está a unos 12min (6.8km) en auto. Dispone de spa, gimnasio, complejo de piscinas, supermercados, restaurantes, snack bar, tiendas, museo, polideportivo, alquiler de coches, centros de salud y demás servicios en general. En la localidad y sus alrededores se celebran durante todo el año diferentes espectáculos culturales y sociales y se practican deportes náuticos. Hay cultivos orgánicos cerca y mercados populares donde se pueden comprar productos de alta calidad. A 25 minutos (21km aprox.) están las cuevas de San Vicente y el camino que lleva a la sierra y sus espectaculares bosques, así como restaurantes como Encumeada y Trianguloso, los populares bares de Poncha en Serra de Agua. Los miradores como Cabo Girao (a 17min (14,4km)), Faja Dos Padres (a 15min (12km)) y otros. Por lo escarpado de la topografía local (toda la isla), es recomendable rentar un auto para poder recorrer y conocer los innumerables puntos de interés que tiene la isla.
