Fishing and Relax Camp located on the shores of the fishing lakes of Bixad, is surrounded by a fabulous natural environment. Nestled in the forest, the quiet, peaceful Olt valley offers guests a peaceful and uninterrupted place to relax. Our campsite comprises 6 cabins, each with two single beds, a bathroom, cooling/heating air conditioning, and a minibar. Every cabin boasts its personal terrace, providing a perfect spot to unwind in the evenings while enjoying the view of the nearby Ciomad Mountains. For those seeking an active getaway, the terrace also offers an ideal space for yoga sessions. For ultimate relaxation, guests can indulge in the rejuvenating experience of a 6-person thermal pool and the soothing warmth of the sauna, melting away all traces of fatigue. Our gastronomic point welcomes guests with a special menu mainly consisting of fresh fish dishes, which has gained great popularity over the past years. At one of the fishing lakes, a bar set up in a gazebo with a terrace on stilts offers cold drinks and ice cream for those seeking refreshment. For those who prefer to cook for themselves, the communal kitchen in the campsite is available for use. In addition to the fire pit, grill, and smoker, an electric hotplate and a sink are also provided. Guests can even catch their own lunch, as the six-lake fishing complex is rich in carp, crucian carp, pike, catfish, and even sturgeon—and during spring and autumn, trout is also plentiful. If the location inspires fishing but you arrive without equipment, don’t worry—there are always a few rental rods available at the tavern. If you wish to fish from the pier in front of the cabins, please indicate this when booking!

In collaboration with a scenic wildlife hide located near Lake Saint Anna, our guests can now enjoy this unique program, where the magnificent wildlife of the Carpathians can be observed in their natural habitat. From the enclosed, covered hide – designed specifically for this purpose – animals can be watched and photographed even in rainy weather, comfortably through large glass windows. Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours, departure: 2 hours before sunset – during the summer season, usually between 17:30 and 18:30. Age restriction: It is possible that guests may need to sit quietly for more than two hours – not all young children enjoy this, therefore we do not recommend participation for children under 6 years of age.
