The boulevard is great for taking a stroll and there are theatres and art galleries. The National Theater is a stone's throw away, as well as the University of Bucharest, the old churches, the former Royal Palace (now the National Museum of Art). There are shopping centers and souvenir shops if you follow the main boulevard towards Unirii Square. Two of my favourite parks - Cismigiu and Icoanei - are in the vicinity, as well as Calea Victoriei, a favourite promenade for locals and visitors alike offering a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. Metro station Piata Universitatii is 3 mins walking distance away. Bus 783 from Otopeni Airport stops just across the street. In Piata Universitatii you can find many buses and trolleybuses connecting the city centre to the rest of Bucharest. There is also a public parking below Piata Universitatii, entrance through Ion Ghica Street Vodafone network Wi-Fi, download speed 500, upload speed 25, data tranfer 300Mbps.
