Hi, I’m Nikola – and this villa is more than just a property to me. As a little kid, I helped my father build Vila Dolina Mira with our bare hands. Every brick, every stone, every bag of cement, every piece of wood—we carried it all across the little bridge over the river using only a wheelbarrow. There was no machinery, just hard work, love, and a dream. That dream was to create a peaceful retreat for people who want to visit Zabrega, its holy places, and the nearby monasteries. I’ve always believed this land holds something sacred. Even now, after living in the fast-paced world of New York City, whenever I return here, I feel time slows down.
