La Saline - A villa on the sea! - located on an old salt-pan in a unique location. The villa is built from local granite stones and has a furnished large veranda surrounded by the sea on three sides. The view on the ocean, the bay of Anse Possession and the nearby island of Curieuse is spectacular. You can enjoy your meals or your drinks while watching the sunset from the terrace. Particular attention has been given to conserve the original character of the house as well as to its colonial furnishings. You can decide to laze around, basking in the sea and sun environment, the place has a small private beach at low tide, go snorkelling from the house or visit nearby beaches or the island of Curieuse. La Saline is a 3-bedroom villa. It can accommodate 6 persons in two large double beds and two large single beds all located on the first floor, sharing two spacious bathrooms equipped with shower and toilet. All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning and fans. A large living room and a modern well equipped kitchen as well as a small shower/toilet are set on the ground floor. Please feel free to ask her any questions, she will be happy to help. She speaks English, French and Creole. She can arrange transfers, boat bookings, taxi service, car and/or bicycle hire and is at hand to make your stay enjoyable. Dinner or breakfast can be arranged and brought to the house, if arrangements are made beforehand or at least one day in advance.

The view across the bay of Anse Possession and Curieuse and Aride islands is spectacular. Restaurants and cafes are located at Cote D'or and at Pasquière, near Raffle's Hotel, all at 5mins drive away. A bank and ATM is also found at Cote D'or. The nearest grocery stores are at Cote d'or with a mini store also located at Anse Possession. Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is a 10 mins drive, Vallée de Mai National Park 10mins, airport 16km and the ferry jetty 8km. You can drive or take the bus to other beaches such as Anse Lazio and Cote D'or, or take a ride around the island or explore the island on foot. If you particularly like diving, fishing or visiting other islands, we recommend that you rent a boat or visit the diving centre nearby at Cote D'or.
