Welcome to Ursand Resort & Camping! Ursand is located a little bit north of Vänersborg, at the most southern tip of Vänern. We who work at Ursand are very passionate about making your visit as positive and memorable as possible, all year around. During the summer there are a lot of activity in the area and a lot of people find their way here. The winter is far more quiet and perfect for people who love the nature. The distance to central Vänersborg is about 5km and there are both bike and walking paths all the way in to town.

Property info

The campsite has existed for a very long time, but in 2012 one of Sweden's biggest entrepreneurs - Bert Karlsson - saw the potential in making this campsite one of the best ones in the country - which we since the beginning of 2019 are, since we were awarded with five stars by SCR!

Neighborhood info

It is very nice and calm here at Ursand. We have a small supermarket on the area, just next to the reception, with the most necessary supplies and we are open all year around. Our restaurant is closed between September and April, but there are a lot of nice restaurants in Vänersborg - if you do not want to cook your own dinner in the cabin kitchen.
