Welcome to our holiday home on Lilla Fjellsholmen, just 35 minutes from Gothenburg and 20 minutes from the seaside resort of Marstrand. With sweeping sea views, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in the west coast archipelago. Guests can swim in the sea, relax on the docks, enjoy a barbecue on the terrace, go hiking in the beautiful surroundings, recover in the seaside sauna, or cook together in the well-equipped kitchen. Kids will love exploring the island, playing in the green areas, spending time at the small beach, or catching small crabs from the docks. The house (108 m², two floors) includes: • 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms • Spacious mezzanine (second living room) with reading chair, two extra beds, piano, and stunning views • Open-plan living room & kitchen with dining area, couch, armchairs, and fireplace • 100 m² terrace with outdoor furniture and panoramic sea views Facilities & Comforts: • Sleeps up to 6 with comfortable new beds (two doubles + two single extra beds). A foldable crib is also available for small children. • Fully equipped modern kitchen with essential cooking basics • Two workstations with ergonomic office chairs – perfect for remote work with WiFi and high-speed fiber internet. • Terrace with BBQ & outdoor furniture plus two private parking spaces (one with EV charger) • Private boat slip at the marina (small motorboats only) • Private boathouse with seating, sun chairs, fridge, and coffee machine • Equipment: Two TVs, AppleTV with Netflix/Prime , Bluetooth speaker, Piano, and Guitar. Good to Know: • Bookings usually Saturday–Saturday; shorter stays and monthly stays are possible in low season • Fireplace available October–April (firewood to be provided by guests; contact host in advance for safety instructions) • 2 kayaks & 1 SUP available for rent (contact host in advance) Not Included: • Small guesthouse on the property • Wood-fired hot tub on the terrace (not operational)

We do not live close by and you will get a code for the door that is valid for the whole stay.

This is an ideal place for families with children, couples, small groups of friends, and even remote workers who want to be close to Gothenburg and still enjoy the unique beauty of Sweden’s west coast archipelago in comfort and style. Lilla Fjellsholmen Island was previously used as summer resort for Volvo workers and is still known by its old name (Trälen Island) on some maps. There is a short private bridge to reach the island. (you will get an access code) You are close to the world famous sailing and seaside resort Marstrand, which has a wide range of restaurants and a rich entertainment scene. It takes only 35 minutes by car to Gothenburg with Liseberg Amusement Park, Paddan boats and everything else you would expect to find in a big city. Within a short distance there are also two golf courses and a small town with a grocery shop and pizzeria. It is possible to take public transportation to the island but you are easier to arrive by car.
