There are also running trails, cross‑country ski tracks and an outdoor gym within 4 km. The Uppland Cycle Route, the Mälardalen Trail and the historic Dalkarlsvandringen hiking route all pass through the area. Golf enthusiasts will find many courses nearby, including the renowned Bro Hof Slott, and two disc golf courses – one within walking distance. From Bålsta you can continue by train or commuter train to Stockholm. Direct trains to and from Gothenburg stop at our local station, 7 km away, where buses also connect to Arlanda Airport.
