Closest city is Stenungsund (40 min by car). Closest airport is Gothenburg Landvetter (GOT). Ferry from Germany and Denmark arrives in Gothenburg. A charming, traditional and carefully renovated house with 4 rooms (3 bed rooms) and a kitchen with a nice atmosphere in the middle of the beautiful old fishermen village Mollösund, at the sea. Two comfortable beds in each of the three bedrooms. Together with two extra beds and a bed sofa the total no of beds are up to 8-10, comfortable no of persons are 4-6. The house has a very good and sunny location in the old, beautiful and most attractive part of the village. On the ground floor of the house: -a spacious kitchen with full modern equipment -a living room with a cozy fireplace, flat screen TV 46 inch and a sofa (sofa bed, 135cm bed) -a bedroom / living room (bed 90cm, bed 80cm, extra bed 80cm) - a small but modern bathroom with shower and WC Upstairs there are two bedrooms: Room 1: bed 180cm. Exit to balcony with afternoon and evening sun. This room is accessed directly from the stairs and normally there is no door to close towards the stairs (but could be requested). Room 2: bed 160cm (could be separated to 2*80 cm) + bed 80cm. Room 2 is reached only by passing room 1. A small garden of 250 sqm with lots of sunshine throughout the day and outdoor table, chairs and BBQ. 150m to the sea (no sea view). Neighbour houses very close by (typical for these types of old villages) No smoking indoors. Public parking available (fee) Swedish TV channels. Mollösund is situated in the heart of Bohuslän, West-Sweden’s coastal area with countless islands in its archipelago. Mollösund - one of the most beautiful villages at the west coast - is an idyllic old fishermen community with a history reaching many hundred years back, located on the southwest end of Orust Island, close to Käringön, Gullholmen and Tjörn.   The small village is popular with mainly Swedish summer guests. I have had also some guests from Switzerland, Germany and Norway. In high season there are lots of activities ongoing and it is quite a lively village but still very relaxed. The boating life in the harbor is a few minutes away as is the super market (08.00-20.00h), small shops, the fisherman store (2), the kiosk, the ice cream bar, the restaurants (5), the tennis and padel courts. Close to a morning swim. The beautiful areas for swimming are reached within 10 minutes.   In the low season there are the following options: -supermarket open 10-16h (week days to 18h) -sauna at Bastuboa at the sea -lunch, dinner and bar at restaurant Wärdshuset -buy lobster, crayfish and fish at Larssons -the nature and the sea is just around the corner...
