Property info

Welcome to the Fortress! We are located inside the walls of Varberg's fortress dating from the early 13th century. We offer a cozy accommodation in our B&B. If you want a more captivating accommodation, you can choose to spend the night in a cell in the former prison. Just outside our accommodation is a sandy beach and piers. To Varberg's center and train station it is only a short walk. Welcome with your booking!

Neighborhood info

The environment around our B&B is grassy areas with historic stone walls, where there are tables to use to eat or just have a coffee in the fantastic environment. From the fortress you can look out over the mighty North Sea and enjoy the sunset in the ocean. You can also see the island of Getterön and the well-known Kallbadhuset just below the fortress. Varberg's fortress is one of Varberg's foremost historical sites and here you can spend the night, eat and enjoy history from the early Middle Ages at Halland's Cultural History Museum.
