Welcome to Hôtel Gruyère – Sweden’s smallest hotel, with a very big heart. ❤️ Our individually furnished rooms are located upstairs in a charming 19th-century building in the heart of Landskrona. As our guest, you also have access to our spacious shared rooftop terrace, with comfortable seating areas and a barbecue – a lovely place to relax after a day in our beautiful city. The building has been carefully renovated while preserving its historic character, earning a special commendation from the City of Landskrona. Breakfast is included in every booking. From Monday to Saturday, it is served at our partner café, Trädgårdsgatans Conditori, just around the corner from the hotel. On Sundays, when the café is closed, a self-service breakfast is provided at the hotel.
My name is Tommy Ericsone, and I am the owner of Hôtel Gruyère. I have worked in the hospitality industry in Landskrona for more than 30 years. Over the years, I have run cafés, a bed and breakfast, a gift shop, and an antiques and curiosities shop. My passion for vintage treasures and retro interiors has given the hotel its personal character, with each room individually furnished in its own unique style. Hôtel Gruyère is an unstaffed hotel, but I am always available if you need assistance or would like recommendations for restaurants, attractions, or places not to be missed during your stay. I am always happy to share my knowledge of Landskrona and everything our beautiful city has to offer. My greatest wish is for you to feel at home and leave us with fond memories of your stay.
Hôtel Gruyère is located in the heart of Landskrona, with restaurants, shopping, cultural attractions, and the city’s main sights all within easy walking distance. The Citadel, Landskrona Museum, the theatre, and the ferry terminal for trips to the island of Ven are only a few minutes away. Halvmånen Beach is also within walking distance of the hotel. Nearby bus connections provide easy access to Landskrona station and other parts of the city. We also recommend visiting Borstahusen, the charming old fishing village with its marina, beach, restaurants, and beautiful views across the Öresund Strait. Here, you can stay close to everything Landskrona has to offer, with the rest of the Öresund region also within easy reach.
