Looking for a peaceful place on the Swedish countryside? Welcome at Hustugu Gård, our small horse farm. You find us one hour from Stockholm in the middle of the countryside with everything closeby: culture, nature and water. You might be able to spot a moose or deer, as they regularly walk through our garden! We rent out our Swedish stuga to 1-4 people. The holiday home is fully furnished with a kingsize bed for two persons, a kitchen with bar, refridgerator, oven and microwave, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, and an open attic with beds for two more people (take care: steep stairs, not suitable for the smallest children). The house is equiped with television, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning.
We are Hugo and Vera. We moved from the Netherlands to Sweden in 2019, after many years of enjoying the nature in Sweden on holidays. In 2020 we bought our own little horse farm where we currently live with two horses. From the summer of 2021 we rent out the holiday home on our farm, so we can share the joy of this beautiful place with more people. Welcome!
Follow the route along the rune stones, visit local organic farms, enjoy a traditional Swedish "fika" in a nearby farm café, or go swimming in the nearby lake. You won't be bored here! Stockholm Our farm and holiday home are located one hour from Stockholm. Here you walk through the streets of the old city (Gamla Stan) and you'll find a large number of museums. A visit to Stockholm is not complete without a visit to Skansen. Prefer to look for less touristic places? We help you find your destination! Hiking Would you rather enjoy the nature? There are plenty of activities nearby, and you will find a large number of hiking routes, stretching from a one hour walk to a full day tour. The nature is overwhelming: rocky beaches in the archipelago, peaceful bird protection areas, and mossy fairytale forests. We are happy to give you local advice on the best places to visit!
