The furniture is handmade by G.A.D, using solid wood and stone, built to last and designed to create harmony and serenity. For the perfect night’s sleep, you’ll rest in luxurious Hästens beds, made entirely from natural materials such as horsehair, cotton, and linen. Pillows and duvets come from Engmo Dun, renowned for their soft and airy quality. We carefully select makers who share our values — local production, sustainable methods, and genuine craftsmanship. Each room also features a soapstone fireplace, spreading gentle warmth and the cozy crackle of a real fire.

A Farm with History and Heart Resta Gård has been run by the Hane family since 2007. The farm itself dates back to 1296, and carries centuries of history — even myths about underground tunnels and ancient memories from the Bronze Age. We have a deep passion for food, animals, and nature. Our vision is to farm in a way that never compromises the wellbeing of animals or the environment. That’s why we practice ethical animal husbandry and keep everything 100% organic — no pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or chemicals. We want to create a place that is both beautiful and healthy — where natural biodiversity from forests and meadows blends seamlessly with a cultivated park designed for swimming, fire gatherings, play, and peaceful reflection.

About the Farm – Life, Movement & Peace in Harmony When you arrive at the farm, you’re welcomed by a place alive with activity, yet where stillness is always close at hand. Look out across the open fields, meadows, and pastures, and let the sounds of nature embrace you. Follow your mood and choose your path. If you’re an early riser, visit the barn in the morning and watch the cows being milked. The scent of hay and the rhythm of the milk filling the buckets is a true countryside experience. Along the way, the rooster crows and the hens cluck after laying your breakfast egg. The pigs are still snoozing in their straw beds, while the sheep and lambs are already up, grazing quietly. The little lambs often yawn adorably in the soft morning light. Take an evening walk and you’ll experience a different kind of energy — lambs leaping and playing around the tired ewes, the air filled with the sounds of a farm winding down. If you seek stillness, there are quiet spots where you can retreat and simply enjoy the landscape, the scents, and the sounds.
