Strandhgårdens BBB is located in the heart of Oxie – a peaceful green oasis just 15 minutes from Malmö city centre. The room is bright and personally decorated with art on the walls, wooden floors, plants in the windows and a private bathroom with shower. Guests have access to the garden, terrace, free WiFi and free parking. Built in 1913, Strandhgården combines traditional Scandinavian craftsmanship with modern comfort in a relaxed atmosphere.
My name is Karl Tomas Sjölin – chef and host at Strandhgården. I’ve worked many years in gastronomy and hospitality and now run the non-profit association Strandhgårdens Coffee Society, which brings together food, culture and community. As a guest, you’ll be welcomed personally and I’m happy to share local tips about walks, cafés, swimming spots and nearby events.
Oxie is a historic district of Malmö, surrounded by nature, farmland and ancient landmarks. There are nearby walking and cycling trails, a golf course, and easy train connections to Malmö, Lund and Copenhagen. For travellers seeking peace, greenery and authentic Scandinavian hospitality, Strandhgården is the ideal place to relax and unwind.
