Vaxholm Seaview Cottage is a charming newly renovated fisherman's cottage from 1911 with views of the harbor and the sea. It has a south facing very sunny patio and a cosy wood stove for the cold season. The cottage is located on a hill in the very city center. 100 meters from harbour, restaurants, bus and boat communications. It is a perfect calm spot to discover the Stockholm archipelago and Stockholm city. 2 rooms, 35 sqm. Kitchen, bathroom. Access to washing maschine and WIFI. Our ambition is to make the archipelago accessible to our guests just as it is to us who live here. , We can help set you up with different activities/experiences such as boat rides, fishing, kayaking, hiking, mountainbiking, wood fired sauna on an island etc. Just let us know what you like and we can discuss options.
I (Jonas) is an experienced host that has been in the hospitality industry since 1988 and still love to meet new people from different culture. I love nature and spend alot of time out there kayaking, hiking, running, biking, boating, swimming etc. I would be glad to share my best spots with you. I speak Swedish, English, German and French.
The property is on a great calm location in the very center of Vaxholm. The location is great to experience Vaxholm by foot and a car is not needed. Vaxholm is the gateway to the archipelago and you can easily go by boat either to Stockholm city or further out in the archipelago. I have many local tips that I can share with you such as with islands to go to or what boats to use, picnick spots etc.
