Property info

The Alpine Retreat is an easy 2km walk to the shores of Lake Bled. Offering spacious accommodation in a centuries-old, traditional farm house, that simply oozes character. With balcony, sunny south terrace and a shaded north-facing garden there are mountain views all round. With free parking and wifi, this house suits families or small groups (max 6) seeking the peace and tranquillity of rural village life, with forest, hillside and riverside walks (Vintgar Gorge) from the doorstep.

The Alpine Retreat is sited in a well serviced village, with shop and restaurant / bar. Located beside the church at the heart of the active dairy farming village of Zasip, you will feel at the centre of village comings and goings. Sat on a ridge with commanding southerly views, and Bled Castle in clear view, you are just a few kilometres from Lake Bled, with all its tourist facilities, yet being in Zasip, on the doorstep of some wonderful countryside, you feel more in touch with the local way of life. There are some amazing walks nearby, including a circuit to Vintgar Gorge, which is within easy striding distance of the doorstep.
