Apartments Baron are situated in renovated house, located 700m from the Lake Bled. To the famous rowing center there is only 1,2 km and to the hockey drome there is only 2 km. Vis-a-vie from the apartments there is a family bakery Planika. The bakery tradition has been in our family for 30 years. Fresh pastry is available every morning. Etymology of the name Baron: In the old days the Baron’s keeper lived in this house, and the old house name was "near the Baron’s". On the other side of the street, there is a bakery which was build by my wife Teja’s parents. Bakery uses old recipes and traditional bakery from Gorenjska region, and has been baking fresh delicacies for 30 years. The bakery is now run by my wife Teja. We speak Slovene, English, Croatian and Serbian.
