We run our accommodation together as a family business, with my father and me taking care of everything. I handle most of the communication with our guests, and we are always happy to make sure our guests feel welcome and at home during their stay. We are always available to offer help, recommendations, or advice regarding trips, hiking trails, local attractions, and the best experiences Bohinj has to offer. Welcome to our accommodation in Bohinjska Češnjica 36, located in the heart of the beautiful Upper Bohinj Valley. Our house is situated in a peaceful and sunny location, where you can enjoy complete tranquillity, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. The large courtyard and spacious garden are ideal for relaxation, socialising, and carefree play for children, making our accommodation a perfect choice for families, couples, and all nature lovers. The house features four apartments, each with its own private entrance, fully equipped kitchen, and private bathroom, providing our guests with comfort, privacy, and a true feeling of home. Next to the house, there are three unique mobile homes placed side by side. These homes are intended for guests who wish to experience an authentic connection with nature and enjoy a special type of accommodation. All three mobile homes share a fully equipped kitchen and shared sanitary facilities, including two showers, two toilets, and two sinks. For additional comfort, an extra shower and toilet are available only about 15 metres from the mobile homes, ensuring that guests have enough bathroom facilities even during periods of higher occupancy. A special feature of our accommodation is its authenticity. All buildings have been handcrafted using traditional carpentry methods once used by our ancestors. The wood is manually processed and left untreated, without varnishes or paints, preserving its natural beauty, scent, and warmth. Here, you will experience true harmony with nature – waking up to the sound of birdsong, surrounded by the scent of wood and the peacefulness of the Bohinj mountains. Our accommodation is located in the peaceful alpine village of Bohinjska Češnjica, surrounded by unspoiled nature and offering beautiful views of the surrounding hills. The village is an excellent choice for anyone looking for relaxation, fresh mountain air, and an authentic Bohinj atmosphere. Numerous hiking trails and starting points for climbs to nearby hills and mountains begin directly from the village, making the location perfect for hiking enthusiasts and nature explorers. Cyclists will also enjoy the cycling route that starts in the village and leads around Bohinj, connecting many natural and cultural attractions. Only about 2 km away, in the neighbouring village of Srednja vas v Bohinju, you will find two local restaurants where you can taste delicious traditional dishes, as well as a small Mercator shop where you can buy groceries and other basic necessities. The beautiful Lake Bohinj is only around 5 km away, allowing you to quickly reach it by car or bicycle and enjoy swimming, lakeside walks, rowing, fishing, or other outdoor activities. Our location is an excellent starting point for exploring Bohinj, Triglav National Park, waterfalls, mountain pastures, and many other natural attractions.
