The house is located on the edge of a small village 500 m from the centre. There are balconies front and rear on each upper floor . The house stands in a garden with grass to the front and sides and an orchard hillside to the rear . The shops are walk able at 500 m as is the railway station at 700m There are places to eat in the village as well as ice cream parlours , coffee shops / bars. Medical centre. This is an incredible part of Europe , A nice small village with good amenities on the edge of the Trigalav National park , Surrounded by mountains but access all year round . You have the most wonderful choice of walks on paths or mountain trails as well as cycle routes , all clearly marked , The local tourist office have maps and times for the average person . For the more experienced you have a good choice of up to 2500m mountains to enjoy . Those who like there feet on the lower slopes you have lake swimming , river fishing , lakeside walks , A cable car to get you to the chair lift system . Huge choice of family walks once up there , or stay in the valley or lakeside for ab sailing , rope climbing ,rope bridge walking. Paragliding , windsurfing . white water rafting . Evenings together in the house , bowling ally , local bar /coffee shop . In recent years we have a new cycle path that follows the sava Bohijska to its source at lake Bohinj. from the village ( just 1 short steep hill ) takes about 20 mins Further up the valley you have the Icelandic pony trecking centre . At the head of the valley you have the water fall through the mountain from the glacier
