We built Bohinj Mountain Dreams on a site that breathes tradition, craftsmanship and history. At the turn of the 20th century, a cobbler lived and worked in this very house. In places like Bohinj, shoes and boots were essential, and the cobbler’s workshop became a warm gathering place where villagers exchanged stories, news and moments of everyday life. Today, Aleš and Mateja — the current owners — welcome every guest with the same spirit of hospitality. With genuine smiles, a helping hand and an open heart, they share not only their home, terrace and garden, but also the warmth and authenticity that defined this house more than a century ago.
