Dear traveller Welcome to our house located in Bohinjska Bela on the outskirts of Bled. The owners of the house is Cronje and Ansie Bruwer from South Africa. Ansie is a medical doctor specializing in occupational health, working at mines in the Rustenburg area. Cronje is civil engineer, lecturing structural engineering at the University of Johannesburg. Cronje is adventuring into various African countries with his motorcycle. He rode from Johannesburg in South Africa to this house in Bohinjska Bela. Dear traveller, Welcome you to our house in the village of Bohinjska Bela. We are 3km from lake Bled via the forest walking route and 4km by car. Our house offer the following: 1. Apartment Bella Vista (87m2) is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate 7 persons. It consist of 2 bedrooms (one with a queen size and one with two twin beds), a bathroom and a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped also with a 6 seater dining room suit. The living room is equipped with a TV, books, lounge suite and 3 folding beds. The sunny balcony (39m2) have a barbeque, chairs, tables and sunbeds. The apartment has lovely eastern and southern views. 2. Apartment Panorama (51m2) is located on the 3rd floor and can accommodate 4 persons. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms (one with a queen size and one with two twin beds) both with TVs, a kitchen and a bathroom. An east and south facing balcony (20m2) surround the apartment and is equipped with patio chairs, tables and sunbeds. The apartment has lovely eastern and southern views. 3. One-Bedroom Loft Apartment – The apartment is located in the attic and consists of a single open space of 27m², designed to accommodate up to 5 people. It is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, featuring a kitchen and a balcony. 4. Basement Apartment – Located in the semi-basement (70m²), this apartment accommodates up to 8 people. It includes four single beds (90x200), a sofa bed (180x200), and a sofa in the living room (160x200). Two foldable beds (90x180) are available on request. Access is possible through the garage, making it suitable for those with mobility issues. Note: No view from the room. One parking apace for each apartment is available. The back garden provide a play area for children. The house is located in a quiet area. The village center is 400m from the house which include a Mercator market, bus stop, community hall, post office and a small restaurant.

Bohinjska Bela is a very good choice for your vacation in Slovenia. It offers the following activities: 1. Lake Bled (1/2 day activity) Lake Bled is considered the best tourist attraction in Slovenia. A gentle stroll around the lake (6km) is recommended. There are 2 roads from our house to the lake. The walking road through the forest (3km) is the most scenic. It exits at the Bled camping site at Velika Zaka. Given the scarcity and cost of parking in Bled this is the best option. The 2nd route to the lake is by car. 2. Iglica waterfall (2hr activity) The Iglica waterfall is 1km from our house on a scenic route through the village. Rock climbing is done next to the waterfall. A steel staircase lead to a magnificent viewpoint 3. Lake Bohinj (1 day activity - 24km) Lake Bohinj is considered by locals as more picturesque than lake Bled. The Vogel ski-resort is situated next to to lake Bohinj. A cable car offer access to the ski-resort which offers breathtaking views. The Savica waterfall is on the western side of the lake. Many hiking trials start at the parking area of the waterfall 4. Skiing Skiing a popular sport and can be practiced at Vogel ski-resort or Pokljuka ski-resort 5. Vintgar Gorge (1/2 day activity - 9km) Visiting the gorge is recommended. 6. Hiking trials. Grumble Bear trail start in the village From Galetovev view point Bohinjska Bela and lake Bled is visable Babji zob offer breathtaking views 7. Sava river (1km) Ample, free parking is available at the river. Big lawns and lots of places to play is available. Guests can relax and swim with the children in river. Trout fishing 8. Triglav national park (1 day) Visiting the national park is spectacular. It should be on every guest's to-do-list. It is possible to hike to the highest peak. 9. Road trip (1 day) Bohinjska Bela, Kranjska Gora, Vrsic pass, Bovec, Tolmin, Kranj, Bled 10. Relaxing Many spa are available in Bled 11. Many more activities are available, please see the internet
