Hello! I My name is Vanja. like to think of myself as an active person who always tries to improve and to succeed. My biggest love is my family. My husband and my two children like to do as much sporting activities as we can. Our work represents managing our gasthaus, cooking, serving and taking care of you, dear guests. I am inspired by simple and good people and I like to travel around the globe with my family to see all the beauty of these world and to understand life as it is - a miracle.

Our property lies in the heart of Bohinj - in Ukanc. Our guesthouse has a long-lasting tradition and is famous for superb and welcoming service to our guests. We like to say our company family is relatively small but it has a great heart inside.

Neighborhood info

It is a peaceful area surrounded by a marvelous lake and mountains all around. Hot in summer with feelings better than at the seaside and cold but cosy and like in a fairytale in the winter, there is always a plenty to do. The area is a great starting point to hiking, there are many activities offered by the lake such as swimming, rafting, canyoning, zipline, simply walking/running around the lake etc. In the winter there is a ski resort called Vogel nearby which is a magnificent place for ski lovers. It is impossible to be bored here.
