Welcome! Our 2 new appartments of "Hiša Ella (2024) " feature each two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the kitchen/diner/tv corner and can accommodate 4-6 people. Flat 1 is located on the ground floor, flat 2 is on the first floor and can be accessed via an external staircase. Each bedroom in flat 2 has a double bed, a bedside table, a small desk and a wardrobe. Flat 1 has also 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed, each with a small desk. Each appartment has a covered terrace and garden furniture. Hiša Ella is surrounded by a spacious garden/woodland overlooking the beautiful Soca Valley. Parking is free on the private property in front of the apartments. A storage area is provided for bicycles, steps, skis .... which can be locked. To reduce our carbon footprint, toilets are flushed by collected rainwater and we also try to separate waste as best we can.
Wifi, digital TV, and air conditioning are provided. The new fully equipped kitchens include a microwave, an induction stove, a fridge, a coffee machine and a dishwasher. There is also a washing machine (new option!) and a drying rack available for the guests. The flats are located in the village of Žaga,, about 8 minutes by car from central, busier Bovec. In the small village of Žaga, you can find a small supermarket, a cosy balkan restaurant and a Neapolitan pizzeria within walking distance via a low-traffic small road. The 2 flats of Hiša Ella are centrally located in the village but surrounded by lots of greenery and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Especially during the busier Summer months, many guests prefer to stay in Žaga rather than in the crowded city of Bovec where there are fewer parking options and more chance of night noise . Yet Žaga is very close to the center of Bovec, but above all an oasis of peace, especially after sunset. Žaga is located between Bovec and Kobarid and is therefore centrally located for numerous excursions in the whole Soca-valley.
