Rustic Country home – the house stands just above the unique Karst field of Planina, which is flooded in fall and winter and turns into Planina periodic lake. The house stands alone on the edge of the forest that makes the location very peaceful, perfect for relaxing, and an ideal getaway. The apartments are located in the mansard part of the house, which is a freshly renovated traditional Slovenian farm house. You may choose use our open terrace, where you can relax and also cook or grill your meals. On the karst field flows the river Unica which offers a lot of activities for fisherman (trout, umber, pike,kajak ,kanu etc.). Very nice for photographers.The landscape around the field also offers cycling tracks, hiking paths, hunting grounds (please contact hunting societies nearby), potholing, cave-scuba diving, climbing and more. In wintertime we recommend you to visit our ski resort Cerkno, which is about 50km away from our farm house.Sometimes when is a lot of rain (autum and spring) our field become a lake . You can see on pictures than comes very beautyful.An intermittent lake is a type of lake that is occasionally filled with water and part of the year is dry.

Mrs. Nada Šefic, the owner, is passionate about art and has opened an art gallery, where you can buy her work. Her artwork is famous for unique style of relief paintings in Slovenia. In the gallery you can also find handmade jewelry, by her middle daughter inspired by native Indians from Mexico. Her daughters lives in nature in Mexico. The youngest daughter learned to make Indian themed jewelry with semi-precious stones, also she is avid motorcycle rider, so you can plan for trip with her and she can show you the beauty of Slovenia. If you like to have a party here, you can rent a DJ and sound system. Our daughter is a DJ, and step aerobics and swim, fitness, zumba instructor. We have also bioenergetic therapyst . If you need a local tour guide or information about the local area, she is available to assist you with your needs.
