Namestitev se nahaja na planoti Pokljuka, ki je znana po biatlonskem centru. Brunarica je del stanov, ki so umeščeni na Belski planini in je v orčju Triglavskega narodnega parka. Skelet brunarice je še iz prvotnega matariala. Planina se še vedno uporablja v pašne namene, zato lahko goste zjutraj prebudijo kravji zvonci. Objekt obdaja neokrnjena narava in je odlično izhodišče za pohodništvo in gorništvo, ter gosrsko kolesarstvo. V nastanitvi se lahko gostje odpočijejo in odklopijo od vsakodnevnega vrveža. Planina ni pokrita s komunalno in ostalo infrastrukturo, zato je poraba vode omejena, omejena je tudi električna poraba (brez električnih pripomočkov, bele tehnike, sušilnika za lase..), ni internetne povezave ter televizije. Telefonski signal je v okolici nastanitve.
Smo šest članska družina, ki se s turizmom ukvarjamo že 20 let.
V bližini se nahaja Biatlonski center Pokljuka. Najbližja razgledna točka je Galetovec (1265m). Možnost ogleda šotnega barja. Dobra izhodiščna točka za gorništvo - Triglav (2864m), Viševnik (2050m)... Nastanitev obdajajo širni Pokljuški gozdovi. Možnost nabiranja goznih sadežev (gobe, borovnice, jagode...)
