Katrič ✭✭✭ is a detached, renovated Slovenian farmhouse in a quiet village location within walking distance of the Soča river, nestled in the foothills of the Julian Alps. Katrič is a rustic Slovenian farmhouse that has been lovingly restored retaining its features but incorporating modern facilities. Located at the heart of the charming village of Kamno halfway between Tolmin and Kobarid it is ideally located for any visitor who wishes to enjoy the Soča valley and all it has to offer. The house is only a 10 minute stroll to the river perfect for fishing, kayaking, swimming or enjoying a picnic by the riverside. The house has all the facilities you will need to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable experience, easily sleeping 1-6 people. On the ground floor is a kitchen/dining area with open plan space to the living room with large sofa and digital TV with DVD player and hi-fi. Stone fireplace for toasty winter fires. A downstairs toilet and boiler room for drying out any wet gear, also use of a large 8kg washing machine.

In 2005 we made a decision that would change our lives. After visiting (and falling in love with) Slovenia for several years, on several holidays, we decided to sell our home in Devon, England and buy a couple of very run down old houses in the Soča Valley, Slovenia. After several years of living in Slovenia and much hard work we are now offering Katrič as holiday accommodation so that other people can come and enjoy Slovenia and the Soča Valley. We like to offer our knowledge of the area in addition to our traditional accommodation so that our guests can enjoy the Soča valley and Slovenia just as we have done over the last 10 years. Katrič farmhouse is set in the pretty traditional farming village of Kamno at the Southern end of the Julian Alps under the base of mount Krn. Perfectly located to enjoy all the Soca Valley has to offer like fly-fishing for the famous marble trout, hiking, paragliding, moutain biking, kayaking, rafting, horse riding, walking the historical trails, enjoying the flora and fauna or just relaxing by the river.
